about us

We know that not everyone identifies with the fashions seen on the runways or in magazines. Each season, we translate the newest trends for "real" people, "real" bodies, "real" budgets and "real" lifestyles.

Our goal at StyleBakery.com is to gather all the ingredients you need to create your own recipe for style, right here on one website. Our style chefs edit the latest fashions, accessories, beauty products and gift ideas with your tastes and appetites in mind.

See something you like? We tell you exactly where to find it and even give you direct links when possible. We offer suggestions on how to wear the latest looks and the best styles to choose for your figure and lifestyle.

So browse the bakery and see what we've cooked up for you. Be sure to check back daily for to see what fresh new finds we've cooked up. Or better yet, sign up for our newsletter so you'll never miss a thing!

bon appetit!

Meet the Editors

Cofounder, publisher and 'style chef' of StyleBakery.com, Jennifer Davidson has covered fashion and style trends for television for over 15 years. Blending a fashion insider's perspective with a true understanding of the average woman's everyday style needs, she regularly develops and produces lifestyle segments for such shows as the Today Show and The View.

The creative force behind the website, Jennifer conceptualizes, designs and executes all facets from editorial to graphic layout. Her vision has helped drive the success of the site from inception onward. Jennifer's personal style aesthetic combines trendy cheap chic finds with luxe classics. She is also a proud new Mom to twin baby boys.

Cofounder, sales director and 'style chef' of StyleBakery.com, Beth Herbst contributes both editorially and in a creative and marketing capacity to the site. Over 15 years producing style segments for such television shows as the Today Show and The View has given Beth the unique insight necessary for predicting the style needs and desires of "real" women.

A self proclaimed accessories addict, Beth loves discovering the latest "treat" and has a knack for making a little inexpensive accessory add richness to a look. Beth has been a wardrobe stylist for the NBA for over 15 years, working exclusively with such on-camera talent as Ahmad Rashad and Summer Sanders, among others. In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

From a variety of shows on E! Entertainment to Vh1's Glam God, Stacy Cox has enjoyed a colorful career (pun intended) as a stylist dressing everyone from Sports Illustrated swimsuit models to Wayne Newton to overtaxed moms.

After more than 160 television appearances on such shows as E! News, Soap Talk, Access Hollywood and ABC's The View, this fall will mark a turning point in Cox's career when Blush...The search for the next great makeup artist debuts mid November. It's a project she co-created and is currently in the midst of producing.

This self professed handbag and shoe junkie (no matter how your weight fluctuates, shoes and purses never judge!) plans to launch her own brand with a collection of candles, dessert teas, loungewear & lip gloss aptly called "Coxie." Watch out Martha & Rachel...Cox is a triple threat that will take your life "360" inside out and outside in.

Whether tracking trends for some of the top high fashion publications including Glamour and InStyle, or sharing her style and beauty expertise on morning shows such as The View, The Today Show and Good Morning America, Daisy Lewellyn considers herself the Queen of "effortless chic".

With her sparkling personality decked out in her signature look of vintage dresses and mile high Christian Louboutins, it's no wonder that she's been featured and quoted in the New York Times style section, Style.com, and WWD. Recently, she was featured in Essence Magazine co-hosting a swanky Upper West Side cocktail party with celebrity chef, Marcus Samuelson. She also shares her industry knowledge as a commentator for various fashion panels and as an instructor for The Learning Annex where she teaches classes on working in fashion editorial and getting press and celebrity exposure for products and brands.

Stephany McKnight is an editor and writer who specializes in fashion, beauty, celebrity style, and entertainment. Before writing for StyleBakery.com's Celebrity Dish Daily section she was the Editor of ProjectRunway.com and Associate Editor at SeenON.com. When her nose isn't stuck in a book or a fashion rag she enjoys dancing, traveling and blogging. She lives in the SF Bay Area with her husband Keith and her cat Jack.

Tanya Sharma is an editor, writer and columnist who specializes in fashion and beauty. In addition to overseeing Daily Scoop and Goodies for StyleBakery.com, Tanya is a Site Editor at LoveToKnow.com, covers fashion at TopButton.com and PursePage.com and is a regular contributor to several other publications. She also has an extensive background in the entertainment industry and has worked in marketing and promotion for Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Brothers, ABC and E! Entertainment Television. When she's not parked in front of the computer, she enjoys traveling, cooking and rereading the Harry Potter series over and over again.

StyleBakeryBeauty editor Monique Hankins is a wife, mother of two, a licensed esthetician and the Creator and Editor of Beauty Girl Musings. From an early age, Monique learned the importance of good skincare, how to use makeup and that fashion was just as much an extension of one's personality as it was about being current with the times. Now as an adult, Monique still finds enjoyment in playing with beauty products, shopping, adapting trends to work with her own personal style (which happens to be very feminine and glamour girl-ish) and of course, writing. When she's not testing out products (doing laundry, cooking, spending time with family, cleaning, helping with schoolwork), shopping or writing, you might find her indulging in a mani/pedi, reading the latest issue of her favorite magazine.

Anna Rice covers fashion for College Candy, Examiner.com and her blog, Style4Me. She is currently pursuing a degree in journalism at Northeastern University in Boston. Her style knowledge comes from several fashion internships, piles of books and magazines, and many, many hours of shopping. Her all-time favorite clothing brands are Valentino, Moschino, Sky, Ella Moss, Brian Reyes, and Quail, but she usually gets her style fix at shops like H&M, Forever 21 and American Eagle Outfitters.

Andrea Kiliany Thatcher embraces her life of extremes - blogging about fashion, beauty and celebrity style in her pajamas most days or glamming it up for New York Fashion Week and other industry events. After a stint in print journalism, Andrea began her love affair with new media publishing as a US Correspondent and then Editor in Chief for Shiny Media where she launched ShinyStyle.tv and ShinyGloss.tv. She is a senior editor at Papierdoll as well as a contributor to sites like BagBunch.com and the Girlznight.co.uk Magazine. The celebrity style she admires ranges from classic beauties like Gwyneth Paltrow and Anne Hathaway to edgier fashionistas like Gwen Stefani and Rachel Bilson.

Ishra Sharif is a Canadian freelance writer from Vancouver, BC whose contributions have been noted on TheStyleSpy.com, NovusTV, Vancouver View Magazine, Sweetspot.ca, Virgin Radio, The Beat 94.5 FM, and Youthink Magazine to name a few. Her opportunities have allowed her to rub shoulders with the likes of Lady Gaga, Girlicious, Sex and the City's Jason Lewis with hopes of more star encounters. She loves that it is her duty to report on celebrities and style - but, also loves music, movies, reading and travelling. Sharif follows a mantra of "Only Buy It, If You Love It" - whether something is 2 bucks or $2,000. She loves Rihanna, Olivia Palermo, Eva Mendes, The Olsen twins and many runway models for their trendsetting ways and faithfully promises to deliver every lil' thing that raises a brow from her Gossip Girl and HBO/MTV-obsessed world to StyleBakeryTeen.com's GossipWatch.

Kyle Feldman loves all things fashion, from high end items to vintage and affordable finds. Her philosophy is that fashion should reflect your own personal style along with making a statement. As a junior in high school, Kyle has worked 2 years at a clothing boutique in her home town of Livingston, N.J. There she helps kids and teens look their best even if they're short on time, money and self confidence. Kyle hopes to help others make fashion work for them as a Teenage Fashion Advisor at StyleBakeryTeen.com
