Many designers have submitted sketches for Michelle Obama's consideration for January's presidential inauguration including Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors and more. But what is most telling is probably the designers who did not submit sketches. They are designers she has worn before: Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez (and don't forget Chicago-based designer Maria Pinto). Chances are Michelle might already be looking to one of them to help dress her for the inaugural events. We're guessing maybe Maria Pinto for the swearing in ceremony and Thakoon for the inaugural balls...
