Craving: sheer beauties from Target

The sheer trend has been hot for a few seasons now and this spring is no different. Whether layering on a completely see-through item or opting for a demure peekaboo of skin with sheer paneling, it’s a look with subtle sex appeal that anyone can wear. Case in point: we found these chic sheer pieces at Target which are not only affordable (natch) but completely wearable.

This chiffon racerback hi/lo hem dress from Mossimo ($25) is slightly sheer and printed with another of this season’s top trends: watercolor florals. Also available in an abstract print, this dress easily goes from a casual day at the beach to Sunday brunch with friends.

For a more sophisticated take on the sheer trend, try this Mossimo Ponte Dress with Sheer Front ($30) that comes in three colors. The illusion paneling appears at the chest, shoulders and upper back for a look that goes from the office (with a jacket or cardigan layered over it) to dinner.
