Gap's campaign to help fight AIDS continues with a great new range of clothing and accessories benefitting the Global Fund. Amongst our favorites are this cotton voile empire waist dress and these old school Converse sneakers. Looking good while doing good, it doesn't get better than that.

Maybe I am the only one, but I think Gap's whole campaign is lame. It's just an excuse to make people feel guilty for not spending more money at their unimaginative store, and to charge more for what little they have thought up. If people REALLY want to help Africa, please, don't buy shoes at the gap. Give $10 or $20 to an Aid program or charity. Africa will only get pennies on the dollar for what you spent on those shoes. Do you honestly think they would be doing this if they weren't making money and lots of it? The only place these items REALLY benefit is the Gap.
50% of the profits go to the fund and I know they've raised at least over 7 million dollars. There is also a book available and 100% of the profit from the book goes to the fund. You should do research before you comment on things. Gap may not be perfect, but people ARE benefiting from this campaign, even if it is just bringing an awareness public.
