New York-based designer Kim Phan’s collection, Yumi Kim, launched in fall 2008. It is inspired by vintage prints and silhouettes, and we love the fun prints that are flirty and feminine with an urban vibe. Yumi Kim’s dresses are great investments because you can wear them easily during any season - with tights for now, with bare legs and sandals in the summer! Deux Lux was launched in 2005 by bi-coastal mother/daughter team Fatemeh Mahdavi and Sara Naghedi. Their dream was to deliver “accessible style” all women, so their bags look lux but remain affordable ($38-160).
