If there’s one accessory you’re allowed to be truly playful with at all times, it’s your umbrella. After all - if you’re going out in the rain, you might as well have some fun! These bright options from Australian line Gina & May are the perfect alternative to boring black rain gear, with eye catching graphic prints and color combinations. Founder Gina Pollock launched the line in 2009 with her mother as the solution to her troubles finding an umbrella that was both stylish and durable. Some of our favorites are already sold out, but you can still shop some fabulous umbrella styles online at, with prices ranging from about $35 to $65.
Maybe it was the Kentucky Derby, but we’re putting a chic wide brimmed hat on our fashion to do list this season. We love the ladylike, retro vibe these hats bring, and of course they also provide the essential function of shielding your face from harmful UV rays. This 70s-inspired wavy style is ultra glamorous and perfect for pairing with a classy daytime dress or sleek wide legged pants.

Nude and neon are a match made in fashion heaven - they contrast each other in a way that is just perfect. When we spotted these shorts by Laugh Cry Repeat (brought to you by the designers behind Anzevino & Florence) at Revolve, we immediately started planning all the ways we could wear them. A slouchy tee and chunky platform sandals by day (throw on a blazer if needed), and a silk tank with stiletto pumps by night. These are definitely a summer style must-have.

New York-based line With&Wessel (pronounced “Vitt” and “Vessel”) was originally established in Norway in 1903, and was recently re-launched by Catherine Wessel and her husband, Stian Tolnaes. Inspired by the Norwegian tradition of wearing layers of wool, they created an eco-friendly line of casual fashion basics based around the natural, biodegradable fabric. Wool easily adapts to different temperatures and climates and absorbs moisture from the body, keeping the wearer cool in the summer and warm in the winter - essential for this up-and-down weather we’re having on the east coast right now! But wearing fun colors doesn’t have to be reserved for the weekends - there are conservative but chic options that will satisfy your appetite for brights. We love this pleated silk chiffon skirt by Heidi Merrick. The orange-y “sunset” color is right on trend, and the length makes it perfect for the workday. We also love the small, fashion forward details like an exposed back zipper and patch hip pockets.
