cecilia-gonzales-bracelet-silk-chain-moxsie.jpgWhile browsing Moxsie the other day we stumbled upon these must-have bracelets from Celia Gonzalez. Handmade with dyed silk cord weaved into long natural brass chains, the bracelets also double as a perfect-for-layering necklaces!

Designer Cecilia Gonazalez is based in Miami, where she hand crafts each piece in her Coconut Grove studio. To preserver the uniqueness of her pieces, Gonzalez uses an arduous process of oxidation and patination on the metals, chains, and charms. She layers many elements together to create modern jewelry pieces with an aged look of antiquity.

We’re happy to have this up-and-coming label on our radar!

We love our statement jewelry as much as the next girl, but sometimes the price tag on really cool pieces can get a bit high. That’s why we got extremely excited when, while searching through Etsy, we found Chasing Alila’s one-of-a-kind jewelry shop. These amazing statement necklaces are mad with ribbons and sell for just $28 to $30. They even come packaged in an adorable polk-dot box!

6619.jpgPolka dots are a major trend this summer, and they will continue to be huge this fall. And as much as we love a colorful print, no one can deny the chic attraction of a simple navy-and-white polka dot piece. That’s why we’re listing the Mason SIlk Oversize Polka Dot Tunic as one of our must-haves this season. This classic piece pairs well with statement accessories or pants, but looks just as cool with basic jeans or a skirt.

Caterina Gatta is a young Italian designer who came onto our radar during Milan fashion week this February. We love her playful yet chic designs, including party dresses and separates in fun, eye-catching prints. Right now her designs are sold only in select boutiques, but we know the masses will be clamoring for these pieces soon enough. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for spring 2012!
