Hectic, busy lifestyles full of stress! These products help you win the fight against free radical damage with advanced formulations. Creating beautiful skin is their business.

davidchum.pngUp-and-coming designer David Chum launched the first collection for his line Selah D’or during Boston Fashion Week 2009. The fall line is small, consisting of only five pieces, but very chic, sophisticated, and wearable. A fitted burgundy dress with cap sleeves and a geometric peplum could easily go from the boardroom to a cocktail party, and a silk geometric empire waist dress with lantern sleeves begs for a statement necklace and a night on the town.

Chum, who has been designing since childhood, said his fall collection was inspired by autumnal colors, the 50s and 60s, and costumes from two of his favorite movies, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” and “8 Femmes.” He said he used sculptural details and lines to emphasize different areas of the female form and create demure, lady-like, and slightly aggressive looks.

Selah D’or is available online at and Chum said in the future, we can expect bigger collections of at least 10 pieces. The spring 2010 collection, which was inspired by insects and flowers, will be more avante-garde and sculptural, but still wearable. Chum hopes the spring collection will be picked up by at least one retail store. We’ll be waiting with high expectations!
