fair-trade-leather-rings.jpgWe’re fine with shelling out a few extra dollars for Fair Trade certified style, but when the price tag comes to just $4? It’s a no brainer! These painted leather rings, hand made in Indonesia, are the perfect size for a stocking stuffer or small gift for your girlfriends.

We spotted these hand embroidered Poppy and Fern necklaces on Etsy yesterday and were instantly obsessed. The bicycle and hot air balloon styles are so cute and would make for great conversation starters, and the custom initial necklaces are definitely going on the holiday shopping list. Based in Austin, the pieces are hand stitched by designer Rachel Pruett and each is one of a kind.

Hunting for the perfect gift for someone can be a tedious task, but this year we’re happy to have discovered Erica Weiner’s amazing jewelry line. We know every lady on our list will love these limited run pieces. Weiner, the founder and designer, travels the world to find antique items and jewelry parts that she can turn into chic, modern accessories in her NYC studio. Most of the chains and charms she uses were made in New England factories in the 20th century and have been in storage for years (she digs through warehouses to find the coolest stuff). Because everything is found, often only a few of each piece is made. So when you spot that perfect piece for your mom or sister, snap it up before someone else beats you to it!

Great sweaters are a must for cold wintery days, so we like to keep a pile of cute go-to styles on hand for easy dressing. This season we’re drawn to Lauren Moffatt’s quirky and stylish options. She incorporates eye catching details that make her sweaters special: red and cream banding, unique Fairisle patterns and a removable silk collar.
