painted-bangles-thumb.jpgGive the gift that keeps on giving this holiday season by shopping for Fair Trade certified goods. Fair Trade means that the artisan who made the items you’re buying was paid a fair, market value amount.

One great company for Fair Trade gift items is Far & Wide Collective, because they source beautiful items from all the nooks and crannies of the world that normally wouldn’t have access to online e-commerce. These hand-panted and lacquered bangles by Jindal Crafts most recently caught our eye. Created from 100% recyclable Wrightia Tinctoria (a plant native to India), they are the result of a collaboration between Pakistani designer Ange Braid and Indian craftsmanship. Available in small, medium and large sizes they range in price from $15 to $25 each.

nonna-soul-earrings-thumb.jpgThere’s one holiday trend that never goes out of style, and that’s sparkle. An easy way to add some glitz to any outfit? A great pair of earrings. Here are three we are loving from Etsy shop Nonna Soul, all under $100:

We love pieces that subtly london-skyline-ring-thumb.jpgSNSR3-YB_1.jpgmake a statement, like this handmade double finger ring by Brooklyn-based Snash Jewelry. You’ll have to look closely to see that it’s actually engraved with the iconic London skyline.

Line we love: Loup

French women are effortlessly chic, and NYC-made line Loup aims to recreate their classic yet modern style. Fascinated by Parisians and mid-century design, designer Danielle Ribner founded her collection in 2009 to provide extremely wearable pieces that reflect a feminine “cool factor” while remaining timeless. Her updated basics include micro-suede moto jackets, plaid blouses, denim overalls, simple printed shift dresses and more.

Plaid is rad this season. The hipster-friendly trend is popping up everywhere, but we’re particularly drawn to these cozy infinity scarves. Not only will they keep you stylishly warm all winter, they make great affordable gifts too.
