Seattle-based jewelry line Vim Beget has a cool, almost antique vibe, with aged silvers and distinct textures. Designer Billy Bartels makes each piece painstakingly by hand, as his philosophy is “the means by which you create is of equal importance as the final result.” He hand weaves each ring into a stran of a chain, hand braids leather, and hand files and forms cuffs. The result is top quality pieces that are truly unique. The collection is available online at

Simple, personalized jewelry that’s chic yet simple enough for every day wear - that’s why BijouLimon’s Etsy shop is our new first stop for gifts for girlfriends (and ourselves!). Pick from single letter pendants or initials for $15 to $21.

Growing Jewelry is designed and handmade in Austin, Texas by Christy Curcuru. An art school graduate, Curcuru’s foray into jewelry began as a study of materials. She continually uses her background in fine arts to enrich and inform her designs, which include colorful statement necklaces and beaded cuffs made. Here are two of our favorites from the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection (you can see the entire line here).
