Banana Republic Victoria NecklaceSpotted on fall 2010 runways and deftly worked into everything from bags to eveningwear, crochet proved itself surprisingly chic this year. Though crocheted fabrics do boast a decidedly summery, lightweight vibe, you can still embrace the look when the weather cools down with a statement-making accessory, like this intricate necklace. Combining an acrylic/cotton twill blend with gold-tone metal and taupe ribbon, it’s a dazzling piece guaranteed to invigorate your wardrobe this season.

As a girl who loves her bling, there’s rarely a jewelry trend I won’t try on for size. Bib necklaces, embellished bangles, chandelier earrings, multi-layered necklaces, etc. — I have a handful of each entangled in a mess on my bedroom bureau! But despite my “try-anything” attitude, I definitely was a little skeptical upon hearing about the latest trend — fringe necklaces. I’m not a huge fan of fringed bags, and I definitely wasn’t lovin’ the whole western vest thing that popped up last year, so the idea of a fringe necklace didn’t sound like something I’d want displayed front and center upon my decolletage. But once I actually viewed a few examples, it didn’t take me long to convert!

The fringed look gives a sparkly movement in a way that layered chains can’t quite capture, and I love how the look can easily go from casual to dressy. Instantly glam up your typical collared shirt with some shimmery silver fringe like this Haute Hippie necklace (or this more modest version from Arden B.), or go earthy with a layered stone fringe necklace like this one from Urban Outfitters! Of course, if you’re feeling really daring, this ombre one from Fred Flare incorporates some fall-friendly tie-dye into the mix as well.

Chamak by Priya Kakkar Crystal Bangle SetBold, fabulous and completely affordable: that’s a combination we always love. Priya Kakkar brings all the necessary elements together once again with this six-piece bangle set. Two wider sizes, accented by a floral border, give it a substantial, notice-me appearance, and four thinner bangles, each traced with a funky zigzag border, complete the set. It’s beautiful with evening dresses, cozy knits, boyfriend blazers and more, and brings just the right amount of sparkle and shine to your fall wardrobe.
