We're always looking for new conversation pieces to add to the collection, and just about everything from Verameat fits the bill. Hand crafted in NYC by Ukrainian designer Vera Balyura, the pieces reflect her personal travels and experiences. Jewelry such as the above spine ring ($40 to $280) is inspired by her surgeon grandma. Other pieces that might catch your eye are a french bulldog ring and vampire fang earrings. Shop the  collection online at
Riding a bike is going to be the chic thing to do in 2012. Many designers will be churning out bicycle-inspired collections for spring, since the eco way is now the trendy way to be! Fortunately, you don't have to wear an ugly helmet to stay safe while cruising around on your wheels. We found these fashionable options from London-based Japanese designer Sawako Furuno that will keep you looking feminine and stylish during your ride. Fashion meets function with these helmets, which feature an EPS Shock absorbing liner, classic 11 air vent holes to keep your head cool, quick release buckles, and more. Find them at Cloak & Dagger for $198 each.cute_bike_helmuts_1_thumb.jpg

How pretty is this ring? The blue Chalcedony faceted gemstone is wrapped in sterling silver wire, for a piece that is both classic and stylish. The pop of blue is perfect for brightening up a winter outfit. This piece would also make the perfect gift for mom or a bride-to-be as something blue!

We fell in love with the DKNY cape dress at first sight, but unfortunately so did too many others - the style has been snapped up and remains sold out online. However, we were able to find a similar style that's also way affordable - only $55! - at online indie boutique Thompson / Fifteen. Perfect for New Years' Eve, this Cat Woman-inspired dress features sheer cape sleeves and a fitted body. We're placing our order now!

georgie_ashley_pants_thumb.jpgOk, so maybe the title of this post was a slight exaggeration, but we recently joined the fan club for these pretty amazing pants by up-and-coming brand Georgie. The young label is based in LA, and their trendy Ashley and St. Barth's pant styles have already garnered a cult following. And these boho-chic options are the perfect opportunity to try out the bell bottoms trend!

The latest designer collection we can't stop shopping hails from Paris, and only just recently opened a brand new flagship store in New York. Surface To Air has all the separates and dresses you'll need this winter, whether you're heading out for some weekend shopping or taking the reins at a board meeting. The clothes are both wearable and on-trend: sophisticated and upscale but with a slight hipster vibe. A rare combination for sure! Shop online at or at 27 Mercer Street in New York.Surface_To_Air_FW11_Thumb.jpg

Studded flats are definitely a must-have accessory this season, and we've been hunting for the perfect pair. Luckily for us, Matiko has two chic options that bring the perfect bit of edgy rocker style to any look. The LA-based shoe label's fall 2011 collection is named "Strange Nature," and these two pairs definitely fit the description!
