Whether a bold opaque or a sheer wash of color, hosiery in a variety of hues (including white!) hit the runway this season. Wear a contrasting bright leg to amplify your look, or go for a more subtle monochromatic look to appear instantly slimmer.

Perhaps the biggest news this season is the return of ankle socks and knee socks. Worn with heels, platforms and sandals, this sophisticated style is anything but girlish.
