Celebrate the Year of the Snake with these chic python pieces
At London Fashion Week last week, designer ISSA (a Kate Middleton favorite) styled a bevy of sleeveless dresses layered over thin long sleeve turtlenecks and tights, some with an added wide belt. Inspiring us to break out our summer dresses, it’s a great way to get some more mileage out of our warmer weather favorites. Note that even a typically summery color like orange (above) works when anchored by a dark color turtleneck and tights.
A few styling notes:
- Be sure your turtleneck is thin and fitted, so as not to add any bulk to your look.
- Avoid linen or other summer-weight fabrics and stick to year-round materials.
- Turtlenecks and tights should be the same color for a clean look.
- Add a thick belt like ISSA to add even more interest.
