If you haven’t seen all the hype regarding the benefits of Dr. Sebagh’s new High Maintenance Crème, let me tell you a thing or two, or even seven. This product and its seven patented active ingredients were created to protect, moisturize, rejuvenate, replenish and firm skin. Although our results are not clinical, we tried the wonder crème out on two different skin types (dry and normal) and saw smoother skin in as little as two weeks. That was enough for us to become a high maintenance fan, but this crème isn’t cheap. While taking a sunscreen testing holiday in Costa Rica, I got burned by my selected sunscreen and by the sun’s powerful rays. This wasn’t a go-to-sleep-and-wake-up-to-a -tan-the-next-day kind of red, but a serious blistering type. After the stress of frying my face subsided and I was ready for a diagnosed treatment, I tested skin fate with Kiehl’s Centella Recovery Skin-Salve. Um WOW!!! It sucked the burning sensation out right away and delivered a red-faced-free me in about two days. I did peel, but remember I had (the unthinkable) blisters. I’ve hooked Centella on all my Renova-using friends as it’s gentle and doesn’t compromise  the results. It’s a necessity to any beauty recipe.

These little disposable ampoules pack a day or a week’s worth of skincare in a tiny pouch. Obviously, you will want to make sure the formula works for you, but if you find yourself facing another flight day after day, maybe this leak-proof skin care belongs in your suitcase.

How about a system that exfoliates your dead skin away and helps to keep skin clear and heal current breakouts? Wet n Wild (yes, the drugstore $1 lipstick company) designed their Fresh Face Skincare Acne System to do all of the dirty work for your skin at an extremely cheap price. We tried it out on Sarah, our favorite oily skinned model, and she woke up to a clearer complexion in just 5 days. At first she experienced a bit of dryness and flaking that only lasted a day or two.
